Bringing her high energy choreography to stages like the American Music Awards or the Grammys, Dacia Lewis is a creative executioner with relevant work experience that spans more than 15 years in the entertainment industry. Dacia is an acclaimed Business of Entertainment Speaker and well-respected expert in her field. She’s worked with some of the best entertainers in the industry – from music performers like Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, and Mary J. Blige to working with award-winning actors such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Jennifer Hudson, and Jamie Foxx.
A triple threat with a passion for creating quality entertainment, Dacia is not only an accomplished choreographer and actor; she is also an educator of the arts. After rave reviews as a business of entertainment speaker, Dacia created a curriculum called The Artist Approach to develop and enhance the intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, and social being of the aspiring artist. She speaks and teaches at colleges, institutions, and arts programs around the world, including Spelman College, SAG-AFTRA, Joseph E. Lowery Institute, Broadway Dreams and Atlanta Workshop Players. Dacia’s charismatic teaching style makes for a lively and motivating learning environment that inspires her students.
Dacia recently graduated from Agnes Scott College, receiving her Master’s of Arts in Writing and Digital Communication. Her knowledge and experience together with her postgraduate degree will reinforce her mission to teach actors, artists, and dancers alike—giving them the tools necessary to bring out the optimal performance that exudes confidence, spunk, style, and grace.
